Hackensack Meridian Health Organization is a non-profit organization in New Jersey and has been ranked as one of the best performing health systems in New Jersey in clinical quality. The organization has more than 2100 physicians, 1800 beds and admits more than 260,000 emergency department visits. The services that they offer include diagnostic procedures, compassionate care and options regarding innovative treatment options (Button & Lyles, 2014). The strategic plan project is enhancement of the network for cultural competence in New Jersey. This will involve embracing cultural diversity through services search as sign language interpretation, document translation services, video remote translation and enhancing their demographics. When in it comes to demographics the hospital will be considering all races from different community such as Asian, African-American, Muslim, Latin, Orthodox Jewish. In addition to this, the hospital will also allow transgender to be among the cultural diversity. Among the issues that will be considered include diverse Community Relationships, cultural competence training, language assistance programs, diversity metrics and demographics, vendor diversity, Human Resource Issues and recognizing different cultures within the community (Nair, Nicolae & Dreyfus, 2018).
The strategic necessities that led to the formulation of his program are leadership commitment and vision which is focused on providing competent staffs and affordable healthcare to the surrounding community.

This will involve agreeing on the strategic diversity obligations (Denk, Kruse & Rotondo, 2011). The second area is collaboration with other hospitals to ensure that the program becomes a success. In this scenario the affected organization are Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Centre, Riverview Medical Centre, Southern Ocean Medical Centre, Bayshore Community Centre, and Meridian Partners Companies. The reason why these organizations will be affected is, they are collaborating institutions with Meridian Health Organization. Furthermore, they are health institutions found in New Jersey.
The reason why I selected the issue on cultural diversity, racism has been a problem in the United States of America, It was my interest to discover some of the way in which hospital are helping a community made of different races to access affordable medical services without any racial limitation. Offering affordable healthcare equally amongst all the races is step towards embracing unity of a country (Anhang Price, Elliott, Zaslavsky, Hays, R. D., Lehrman, Rybowski & Cleary, 2014). The data collected will be both primary and secondary. As an illustration the primary data will be based on the patients’ level of satisfaction with the services that are offered based on the issue to be discussed. The secondary data will be based on the findings from the websites of the selected organization.
