UnitedHealth Group is a healthcare company that has its headquarter situated in Minnesota in the United States. It is the largest health insurer in the United States. The company offers its services to more than 85 million people all over the world with the help of its health benefits (Lorenzetti, 2015). The CEO of the company has also invested in health data analysis as well as a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM). Due to these investments that the company has, the company makes a lot of profit, and it represents almost a third of the total revenue of Minnesota (“UnitedHealth GROUP INC”, 2018). The UnitedHealth Group is one of the leading companies that aim at ensuring that the people live healthier and also making sure that the health system is working as required by everybody. The mission of the company is to ensure that the health system performance is improved and also the general well-being of the people and their overall health is maintained at higher standards. The company also ensures that they provide health services to people all over the world at affordable prices (UnitedHealth Group, 2018). And also enhance the patient-doctor relationship through the empowerment and the guidance that they give to the patient to make the right decision towards their health.

The values and the visions f the organization is to ensure that they maintain their integrity so that different people can be willing to work with them so that their core purpose is not compromised (Lorenzetti, 2015).

The organization also makes sure that the ethics of the healthcare is maintained and followed strictly as they remain consistent with their commitment. The company also remains true to their people concerning the promises that they have for people. And finally, they ensure that they rectify their mistakes as well as acknowledging them.
