The most fascinating thing in the world is that everything is made of small particles known as atoms. I have always been fascinated by the periodic table and how elements combine to form more complex compounds. The perfect arrangement of elements in the periodic table has made me desire to learn chemistry further. The unique characteristics of each element in the table amaze me. It is through the study of chemistry that I came to realize that atoms are the basis of our existence. The ability of carbon to form complex bonds and long chains helps in the formation of DNA, which is the basis of life. Water is also formed through formation of hydrogen bonds between oxygen and hydrogen molecule. The study of chemistry has helped me understand why matter exists in the form of gas, liquid or solid.
I enjoy learning chemistry due to my desires to understand my environment better. I enjoy experimenting and observing changes in the environment. I have learned that products we use every day such as hair shampoos, oils, papers, soda, and clothes are all manufactured through a combination of some chemical compounds. Learning chemistry does not only help me understand these processes but be part of them. I would like to one day to change the world through production of chemicals that helps make our lives better without having the negative impact on the environment. Through the study of chemistry, I will be able to work in industries such as chemical manufacturing, research, and pharmaceuticals.

I believe my study in chemistry will open my windows of opportunities to change the world.
Chemistry has always been my favorite subject since I was first introduced to chemistry at my GCSE level. I have since then been involved in various chemistry talks, fairs and symposiums. I have always enjoyed listening to chemistry talks and performing experiments on chemistry. In symposiums, I have demonstrated my ability in chemistry through performing experiments and demonstrations on how we can reduce emission through the application of chemistry. In my internship, I learned a lot of chemistry techniques such as distillation, hydrogenation, hydrolysis, oxidation, and reduction. Throughout the internship, I found the techniques used in chemistry experiments to be enjoyable and easy to master. It is from this internship that I got more interest to further my knowledge in chemistry. Understanding chemistry better will help me improve the processes to ensure higher efficiency and low emissions.
I believe my knowledge base, skills, motivations, and interests for research and chemical processes make me an ideal student for your school. I am passionate and enthusiastic about furthering my knowledge in chemistry through enrolling for chemistry studies in your school. I have a strong background in chemistry that will serve as the good foundation for my higher learning. I aim to be good chemistry student who will adhere with all the school regulations and the requirements of the course. It is my belief that studying chemistry with your institution will make me better and better suited to solve day to day problems. I will also in a better position to secure a better job in chemical industries. It is through working in the chemical industries that I believe I will be able to influence the production process of chemicals to ensure the process is sustainable. I will ensure sustainability of production process through minimizing emission of harmful elements to the environments such as CFCs gasses and carbon dioxide. I will, therefore, be glad if you make my dream come true by admitting me in your institution.
