Admission essay for Eastern Kentucky University
A degree from Eastern Kentucky University is a pretty big deal for me. This is not only because it will equip me with the skills to prosper in my chosen career of pharmacy, but it will also give me a great deal of personal satisfaction. Of even greater importance to me is the fact that I will be the first one from my family to have ever earned a degree. For this reason, I intend to use it to motivate my younger siblings by leading by example. By completing the degree, I will have proven to them that it is indeed doable. My primary motivation to get a decent education is to achieve financial freedom. I come from a big family with struggling parents. A long time ago, I made it my life goal to study hard and land a good job so that I can make them proud and help them.
Like most people who choose to further their studies, I feel that a good education will go a long way in bettering my future. Furthermore, in studying pharmacy, I intend to help a lot of people who suffer from different illnesses. EKU is recognized as one of the leading institutions regarding the quality of education there. For this reason, it is my conviction that to be the best; I have to learn with the best. I am convinced that with Eastern Kentucky University, I will be equipped with the skills necessary to propel my advancement in my chosen career path (Kenkel 2007).
Watching my parents struggle to give my siblings and me a decent education even if it means having to pay through the nose is another reason for my university preference.

Wait! Admission Essay Revised paper is just an example!

Compared to many other institutions Eastern Kentucky University is affordable owing to the several financial aid programs in place. EKU’s courses are reasonably priced making it accessible. Furthermore, numerous scholarships are awarded to help some of the less privileged students to fulfill their dreams. I intend to make use of these scholarships and other financial aid offered by the institutions. This will significantly lessen the financial burden on my parents who are keen to see me through university despite the lack of ample resources to do so.
Part of why I intend to undertake my undergraduate at Eastern Kentucky University is sports. Ever since I was young, I have always been into sports. From my research, I established that the university offers much in as far as this field is concerned and therefore informed my preference for the institution. Once I join, I intend to live a whole-rounded life as I pursue my undergraduate. Specifically, I am into athletics and also play football. Given a chance, I would take part in the school teams of these sports even on a competitive level.
The diversity of the graduate programs offered in Eastern Kentucky University is also another reason why I feel it is the best place for me to study. For this reason, students have a more comprehensive scope from which to select their preferred fields of specialty. Moreover, diversity is also evident in the people making up the EKU community (Kenkel 2007). Being the sociable person that I am, I enjoy interacting with different people, finding new perspectives, casual conversations and making new friends or acquaintances. Being home to many students from different regions across the globe and different walks of life, I feel that EKU is the place to be for me.
