How UChicago Satisfy my Learning, Community and Future Desire
University education is meant to enlighten an individual and make him or her viable in the community; in this regard, the University of Chicago is important in my professional development since it possesses the fundamental qualities of a world class institution. The university is located in Illinois State that is full of opportunities for students and graduates. Currently, UChicago is classified as one of the world-class institutions that can offer quality biological education to learners.
Some of the qualities of UChicago that attract me to the institution include; it has qualified instructors from the top leading universities such as Harvard and Oxford. The instructors are confident of their profession and are dedicated to producing quality graduates as a strategy of maintaining the institutional reputation. The instructors embrace learner-centered teaching pedagogies such that learning is achieved through experimentation, discovery, and discussions. The role of the instructor is to monitor the learning process and advice on the best approaches to acquiring knowledge or solving problems.
The university has good infrastructure that includes enough and sufficiently equipped classrooms, learning centers, eateries, and restrooms. Additionally, the institution in located on a large area that allows the students to move and interact within the institution comfortably. The management is also responsible in the sense that it has maintained good security for the students in addition to ensuring their rights.

The students in UChicago are friendly and interact to form a community. They share knowledge, learning resources and experience. This has contributed to the consistent production of quality graduates into the labor market. The instructors act as guardians and councilors in the institution; this makes the university to have a community setting that is important in learning. The methodologies applied by the instructors ensure the students acquire practical skills that they can utilize in creating employment opportunities in the community.
My Wishes and Relationship with UChicago
My objective in the University education is to acquire criminalist skills that are viable in the job market and be able to create more opportunities for the learned youths; in this regard, my major wishes include learning through practical based approaches that include experimentation and discussions. These pedagogies will enable me to acquire more knowledge that is important in my professional development. For instance, I wish to be exposed to criminal records and situations that require investigation to identify the respective perpetrators.
I wish to consult and interact with my instructors and professors in the institution for guidance on the best approaches to solving problems and acquiring new knowledge in the criminalist profession; in this regard, the instructors need to be friendly and accessible within the institution. Also, they should have a good experience in criminal behavior and investigation, and be willing to share it with inexperienced individuals or learners. Additionally, the institution should have good infrastructure especially have the equipment used in practical lessons. I like games and other fieldwork activities that require the institution to have enough space within its boundaries for games and other co-curricular activities. My wishes reflect that acquiring admission in the UChicago will transform my dreams into realities. The university will provide me with enough learning facilities, friendly and accessible instructors, and an opportunity to enjoy co-curricular activities during leisure time. This will allow me to rest and comprehend the criminalist and other biology concepts. It will act as my discovery center since it encourages practical learning approaches that are facilitated by the management and other external organizations seeking qualified criminalists.
Why I plan to leave my Current Institution
I plan to leave my current institution due to the following reasons: the institution does not have a good reputation in the production of successive criminalist professionals; in this regard, few people have been able to acquire quality jobs in the market, unlike UChicago where almost every criminalist graduate secures a good opportunity. The instructors in my institution embrace theoretical learning approaches that do not allow students to practice on their own and discover new strategies for solving problems. These learning pedagogies are instructor-centered and the learners only acquire information that has been interpreted by their teachers; this results in the acquisition of limited knowledge in the respective subjects.
My current institution does not have enough space for co-curricular activities that are important in relaxing the mind after a busy day. Most students in the institution are overweight due to lack of space to engage in physical activities; in this regard, I wish to transfer to UChicago to avoid the problem of overweight that is already affecting many students. The infrastructure in the institution is not sufficient in the sense that some students are forced to learn in congested classrooms, which affects the comprehension rate. Also, the equipment for practical learning is inadequate; thus, learners are forced to work in groups that are poorly managed. This encourages poor participation in the learning process and experience acquisition due to constant distraction and lack of proper concentration from other learners.
My current institution has limited access to legal organizations that deal with crime investigation; therefore, there are few chances of obtaining an internship opportunity compared to UChicago that is connected to several legal institutions. Transferring from the institution, therefore, will give me a better opportunity to secure an internship and acquire employment experience as a criminalist.
