Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia left an impact in the United States and I believe he deserves a place at Mount Rushmore. He was remarkable in the field of justice and law. He was among many one of the prominent figures in the legal sector. He served in the supreme court of the United States as an associate justice till he died in the year 2016. He performed exemplary on the bench via his work and his numerous decisions that were made on a conservative basis. He had diverse traditional thinking hence a great believer of conventional methods. He extended his intellectual influence down the hierarchy through schools of law and up toward American energized conservative politics.
He gave birth to the today’s conservative legal movement (Rosen). His rigour and intellect had an effect in court as he made it a rather interesting place. He transformed the court from a sloppy, results oriented place, to a better and interesting rigorous centre-right court. This is because the arguments raised in his court became captivating and exciting to follow forming a large part of the American conversation. Other judges took up his methods bringing about the modern conservative legal movement.
He made the law much more understandable for the American people. He additionally changed the Supreme Court views to the public. He was the greatest writer from the Supreme Court (Rosen). His writings are easily comprehendible for the lawyers and law students who will be forever grateful.

Through this, he brought change to law as he neatly and capably packaged the law for the American people. However, via his eloquent remarks, he encouraged some to believe the Supreme Court was a political rather than a judicial body.
He advocated strongly on ingenuity in the interpretation of the constitution and textualism in the statutory interpretation. He popularly was known for being insulting and combative, but his close allies thought him to be unpretentious and charming. He believed greatly in the presidential power which should be paramount in a great number of areas. Due to this striking properties, he made a great impression in the United States supreme courts and other lower courts. In his position, he thought himself as an originalist always in first place in the interpretation of the constitution. His attention to the constitutional text and the laws transformed the manner in which conservatives and liberals conceive as the responsibility of the highest court.
He defended rights to gun ownership and capital punishment. He argued greatly against abortion being passed as a constitutional right. However, he stressed if the public desired that abortion is legal, then the legislature and a system of the law should make the decision. He also voted against laws that implicated differences on the basis of gender, race, and sexual orientation. He resisted gay rights. Additionally, he argued that the laws that make the distinctions between race and genders must be subject to deep scrutiny. He had the belief that death penalty was constitutional under the criminal law. Hence he greatly illustrated opposition toward the death penalty being considered unconstitutional.
He passed away from a possible heart attack in his sleep in February 2016 (Rosen). Supreme Court Justice Antonin after his death the conservatives and liberals have paid tribute to the legacy that he left behind. In the twentieth century, he was one among the most influential of members of the justice system in the United States.
