To present your findings you will be asked to serve as a panelist on an (insert your industry) marketing panel. You will share your new found knowledge in a very supportive and encouraging Question and Answers session. Your classmates are on your team and everyone in the room will be cheering for you to succeed. If you are nervous about this assignment, please know that Dr. Evert is planning on making this a fun, low-stress experience.
Below are some possible questions you will want to be prepared to answer.
What appears to be some of the newer promotional strategies trends in your industry?
Some of the newer promotional strategies include smarter packaging such as the realization that two or three types of fast foods can be packaged together if the consumer wants it done so, compared to the older days when everything would be wrapped differently. This has come because of the packaging materials that have emerged. For example, a plastic packaging team has divisions within itself for more natural packaging.
How will you use your new industry knowledge?
I will use this knowledge to help me in attracting more customers especially since the prices charged will be reduced, and hence more people will be willing to purchase the product.

What was the best episode you listened to and what was so useful about it?
The best episode I listened to was about how so many individuals are interested in fast foods, only that they do not get opportunities. For example, people at work at often so busy that they don’t get time to go for lunch, and since they do not have anyone to do to them the deliveries, they end up preceding meal. The suggestion was that they would appreciate if they got someone to do them the distributions, as this would be easier and better for them.
What were you most surprised about in the information you heard?
What surprised me most is to know that so many people loved fast foods. It was often thought that fast foods are more often eaten by people who go for outings, or it is just done for fun. Nevertheless, I realized that so many people are interested in this kind of foods, even the old people, and the working class, only that they don’t get opportunities to have them. They are also unable to access them due to their tight schedules, especially in the workplace.
What would you tell someone considering a career in marketing in this industry?
I would tell him that this industry is very reliable, and they exist so many ways to approach the industry. In all the various ways in which marketing is or can be done in this industry, all these bring about an added advantage, and they are income-generating projects. He would start by probably taking deliveries to busy organizations and test their response, and they would know how to go about it. However, the answer has always been very welcoming, as far as I have tried (Kotler, 35).
If you were someday in a management or leadership position, would any of this new knowledge affect your budgeting decisions?
All this new knowledge would affect my budgeting decisions because I have already discovered an avenue for reducing costs through the packaging and in conducting safe and fast deliveries to the consumers who need the product.
