Stricter Laws in Florida on Gun Control
The issue of gun control has been profoundly discussed due to the various recent incidences that were involving mishandling of a gun. During the incidences, an individual who has been given the license to possess a gun has turned rogue and killed innocent American lives. The horrific shootings were condemned by American leaders, citizens, as well as global leaders. Every person called on the State and Federal government to implement strict rules to put the issue of guns in control. The opponents of stricter laws on gun control claim that people should be given the opportunity to own guns and protect themselves against any form of danger. The proponents of the movement argue that there is need to adopt stricter laws to control licensing of guns. Lack of proper gun regulation may lead to repeated misuse of guns in the United States and hence in there is a need to adopt stricter laws in Florida on gun control.
The State of Florida allows the regulated sale, proprietorship, and use of guns by either residents or non-residents. However, the rules provided are not strict enough and may prompt an individual to misuse the licensed firearm. For instance, Chapter 790.06 of the 2014 Florida Statutes allows a person to carry a concealed weapon or firearm (FHR). However, the list of weapons allowed includes tear gas guns, knives, and electronic weapons. According to the statute, the State of Florida has allowed both residents and non-residents to possess weapons other than guns.

Wait! argumntive on stricter laws in florida on gun control paper is just an example!

Allowing licensing of weapons other than guns can be termed as laxity of the law in Florida since the act increases the range of weapons that can be potentially misused. For better and stricter control of ammunition, Chapter 709.06 can be changed to list guns as the only weapon that can be licensed.
The number of places where an individual can carry a gun should be limited. The significance of such limitation is to prevent incidences where a person gets the opportunity to misuse the gun in public places. An individual should not be allowed to carry a gun at the place of work or while going fishing. It is possible for the person carrying the weapon to shoot people at the place of work due to work-related stress and frustrations. However, the Chapter 790.053 of the 2014 Florida Statutes allows an individual to carry a weapon (gun, knives, tear gas guns, or electronic weapons) to the place of work. Also, the Statute allows an individual to carry a weapon while going or doing fishing (FHR).A stricter gun regulation law should prevent people from carrying weapons to the place of work or while going fishing. The place of work is a public area where different people meet for a common purpose, and therefore no one should be allowed to possess a weapon even when it is licensed.
In conclusion, the issue of gun control should be regulated using stricter laws. The current gun control laws in Florida can be adjusted to restrict carrying or possession of weapons in public places such as in fishing grounds or places of work. The range of weapons being licensed should be reduce to omit electronic weapons, tear gas guns, and knives from the list. Strict laws governing gun control in the State of Florida will make people safe from incidences of gun and ammunition misuse. Works Cited
