Jonathan E. Robins in CSSH Journal dwells more on contemporary historical problems that relate to the social life and which seem to reoccur after a period.1 The Journal in vol.54 brings multidisciplinary research, theories, sociology and various studies concerning human experiences. Robin narrows down specifically to sociology, history, and anthropology in the second and the third chapters of the article.The article combines research problems and different discussions in an attempt at giving alternative recommendations on topics believed to trigger unexpected insights concerning developments in the society and history.
Robin presents his work in a provocative and appealing form. The article promises innovation and approaches that are entirely original concerning sociology and history. The Author challenges scholars to operate beyond the borders of their professions and disciplines and try to embrace the use of talents, skills, knowledge, experience, and expertise that they might have obtained from other subjects.
