In this report, it will showcase how the comparison report defers from the persuasive report. For instance, comparison report is better than persuade report as it provides two-sided information and the consumer is left to make the decision on which side to adopt. Additionally, a comparison report is based on educating and persuading. Therefore, it does not impose or suggest any decision to the consumers,
On the other hand, a persuasive report focuses on convincing the consumer on the good side or the bad side of a product, and is always one sided. Consequently, its main purpose is to persuade the reader or the consumers to adopt a certain side of the report and it provides logic and reasons why the writer’s ideology is the best choice. Hence, it also states the opinion of the writer. In short, in the case where comparison report is meant to persuade as the consumer may choose to defy the reporter’s opinion and make their own.

As we have seen above, a persuasive report is always one sided.
