The foundation has been in existence since 1992 when several crusades were put forward to tackle critical issues facing women in the society. The crusade has been actively supporting programs on education, innovation and awareness to women on the challenges of breast cancer and other chronic diseases (Mason, Tamara A., et al 44). The foundation has been on the forefront to encourage women to undertake screening, support services to the healthcare centers, diagnosis, and efficient scientific research.
It is evident from its mission and objectives that the firm is substantially relevant and designated to help the disadvantaged in the society. The foundation has come up with set goals and objectives to address. The goals are propagated in form to encourage ultimate contribution in the society. The service to humanity is significantly embedded in its mission and vision. The ethical standards are significantly addressed in the society (Highfield, Linda, et al. 245). The integrity, honesty, and equity are some of the virtues that form a critical platform for the management and administration.
Problem
The Foundation for women has been crucial in promoting the livelihood of women in society. There are several programs in the United States that have been actively developed by the foundation. The programs include Breast Cancer Research, Strategic partnerships, access to care programs and the efficient walk to end breast cancer. These programs have received world recognition, and several humanity agencies have joined the foundation (Mason, Tamara A., et al 34). It is prudent to inform you that the walk to end breast cancer program is a great milestone in the improvement of women livelihoods. The initiative tends to create awareness to the majority of people on the need to support the foundation to actively save lives in the society.
