Barefoot on the Red Earth ‘

"Because the poor will always have them with you". With this introductory phrase I will begin to answer a great question that any Catholic or believer should be done in this 21st century. What is the kingdom of God today? I will dare to answer this great question taking as a reference to Oriol Ferrer in his film "Barefoot about the red earth" and with this referred one we can give conclusion to the question, based on the introductory phrase.

For anyone it is a secret that people or poor population always abound in this world, the poor is universal, to any corner of the world that you will find them and that was what I can experience Father Casaldáliga when he was sent to this littleBrazilian region.

And this is the task that the Father begins and that many priests and seminarians try today, to seePoverty, and some even at this time they dare to say that this is God’s punishment, but which of these statements will be true?

I would be willing to say that none and that I owe it to Father Casaldáliga since he began to lookPeople, this was the kingdom of God or just a small part.

And so it was, Father Casaldáliga did not feel satisfied to see children and their families happy, he looked for something else to find this kingdom that he was looking for so much, and this is where the second attempt to discover the kingdom among the poor,The father, like many people today I lookmore needy.

That was normal nobody has to worry about the poor and more when everyone has their pockets and their mouth full, they are not the ones who endure hunger.

Wait! Barefoot On The Red Earth ‘ paper is just an example!

But that is where you can discover humanity that the human being can have and as we have already seen in the film this degree of humanity would not even reach the lowest degree, but Father Casaldáliga gave us an example that all people shouldcontinue since we are reasonable, despite the difficulties you never have to surrender.

And so it was Father Casaldáliga took a little more force, he was bringing more people in the city to help him in the construction of schools and hospitals and in the same way he was attracting religious and religious so that just as he would help himTo look for the kingdom of God among the poor since he even with everything he had done he had not been able to find it.

Then the Father believed that being as Jesus a revolutionary before the great hierarchies he would achieve the kingdom of God, but he realized that even in this way he got it, it will be that the Father forgot that bliss that said “blessed you the poor, because ofYou will be the kingdom of heaven ”and that is where Father Casaldáliga and each of us can find the kingdom of God in our day.

Thus we fight all the corrupt in the world, so let’s do the 14 works of mercy, so we do not small or forgive those who have offended us we will never be satisfied with the kingdom of God, we will always insist on this search.

By way of conclusion, the kingdom of God today remains the same kingdom as Jesus in the first century ~ the poor ~ Father Casaldáliga had to seek a lot to realize that this little poor and humble people was the kingdom of God HeHe had no search had him in his gaze all the time and that happens with each of us in our day we have the kingdom of God in our daily lives and we always evade it we always do it aside, let’s not forget the best phrase of JesusTo find in the 21st century the kingdom of God "because the poor will always have them with you" and this is what Father Casaldáliga experiences in his time and that this what we experience every day of our lives.
