Bullying
Bullying refers to the process of using force to threaten, intimidate, hurt or confront someone who is seen to be vulnerable. It is a behavior which is habitual in nature. Bullying is a characteristic that the perpetrators are associated with. It humiliates and harms the others, especially those that are seen to be weaker, young and smaller than the others. Those who are bullied are always vulnerable when compared to the bully. Contrary to the known opinions, bullying does not involve the aggression; it is something that is deliberate. It is an attempt to hurt those that are vulnerable repeatedly. Bullying targets have a history of their own that is sometimes based on the experience with the parents. The bullying behavior is durable mainly because those who perform it are always getting what they want. In this manner, the behavior is quite addictive. The bullies are always on the hunt for those who whom they can harm so that they can have their way. Psychologically, the bullies are never born, they acquire the behavior as they grow. The behavior is also acquired in the early stages of life, as early as two years. This takes place if the young ones are not taken care of in the right way.
There are numerous studies that illustrate that bullies have a shortage that can be proven. They do not have the prosocial behaviors and are untroubled through anxiety. The behavior of bullies are quite different from the normal human being, they do not care about the feelings of the others, whether they are hurting them or not (Hase et al.

, 19). They also look at themselves in the different limelight to the others peers. They see themselves positively in many ways. In most cases, those who display the bullying characteristics must have had quite a strained relationship with those who take care of them. These could be the poor relationship between themselves and the parents or the guardians. In the recent past, there have been electronic forms of bullying such as cyberbullying and through the other forms of electronic gadgets. The ambiguity that is realized in the devices that are handheld gives the bullies the ability to have constant access to the people they see as their prey. In these forms, the harassment can be done in a way that they cannot be detected or noticed.
Bullies only exist because of the victims. Without the victims, bullies are normal people. The people whom they are likely to pick are those who visibly lack the assertiveness and have shown some elements of fear before (Swearer and Shelley 34). Also, there is a massive decline regarding the free play. Through free play, they get to interact and develop the best social skills with the other children. They are also able to develop the skills that are needed to form better understanding and relationships with the other children. This way, they learn to solve the problems that come to them.
In essence, bullies get whatever they want in the short term. However, they eventually suffer from the aggressive behaviors as it lowers their desirability. They also associate with the children who are deviant. Such company only led them to more problems. The aggressive behaviors can just land someone in a poor outcome or into trouble. The bully victims suffer mental illness and sometimes depression throughout their childhood. The bullies can sometimes be famous as a result of the social dominance. The social dominance even makes them less admirable by their peers. The parents of those who get bullied should talk to the victims so that they become more open about the situation. If they do not talk about them, their children are likely to be affected by the process for a long time.
