Chapter 9: Followership
My first time as a leader for a significant number of people was when I was elected the chairperson to our church’s youth group. I had started gaining interest from the rest of the group members because of my determination and persistence in fulfilling the objectives of the group. Within the same time, the school’s election was going, and I was nominated by my colleague to be their hostel representative in the student council. I won with a landslide and succeeded in gain support from my opponent. In both cases, my followers have been continuously loyal to me, and in return I have tireless worked to fulfill all the promises I indicated in my manifesto.
Approximately 80% of my followers then were activists as they were continually promoting my ideologies and planned to improve everyone’s ways of life and given them comfort both at school and the church. They always did find a reason to support my bid for social activities despite the huge expenses it incurred in the group’s finances.
Throughout my high school, I was a follower in the debate club. I was a participant type of follower as I brought up suggestions to the table that were either supporting or contesting my leader’s ideas. Also, I was a follower during my first year in college when I was part of the student welfare committee.
The leader of the debate club was a good leader as he was always confident, adamant to the goals of the groups and ensured there was equity in the distribution of roles.

Wait! Chapter 9 Followership paper is just an example!

On the other hand, the chairperson of the Student Welfare committee was also a good leader as he respected everyone’s rights, was visionary and competent and served with integrity (Tracy 1).
I am good at leading myself as I am always disciplined to my course. I also commit and focus all my strength and time so that I can produce the best out of my abilities. I value commitments and being a competent member of a group. At any point in time, I am always ready to take on any role assigned to me by my leader and even step in in case he is unavailable. I prefer discussing issues until we reach a consensus and a few times I do disagree agreeably on allowing the group to make progress.

I need to work a lot; that’s why I really didn’t have a single minute to focus on my thesis writing. These guys from Essay-samples are real saviors. I don’t know how they knew what my professor expected to receive, but they definitely succeeded.
