Hormonal contraceptive method

These types of contraceptives can not only be orally that they are normally the most common, but also through the vaginal path, inserted into the skin intravenously or implant in it.

• Vaginal ring: its renovation is made every month and acts directly from the vaginal walls since it is in it therefore its effectiveness is 90%.

Non -hormonal contraceptive method

To this classification are added the following contraceptive methods that do not require hormones and their use is easy and momentary:

Other methods

There are other options to take care of a pregnancy that although they are not 100% effective many people use and ensure that if they work, these methods do not use any type of chemical or special devices to be carried out as the others, for example:

• Rhythm method: they work by calculating according to the menstruation period the fertile days of women so as not to perform the sexual act during that time.
• Interrupted intercourse: it consists of not letting the semen reach the vagina and for that to happen, the act must be interrupted at the time it will ejaculate.
