conclusion

Finally we can say that 12 years of slavery is a very good movie.

Because it shows us one of the darkest periods that humanity has lived and reflecting we can realize that today racism is still a social problem. A phrase from the movie that says ‘I don’t want to survive … I want to live’ makes me reflect because how many of us enjoy freedom and actually survive or live?

It seems that the human being is already used to living in a society in which the skin color, body context, sexual orientation and where they criticize our way of being or thinking.

This film shows us how, a long time ago they mistreated without compassion to a person simply because of the color of his skin and sincerely touched my heart because we are all the same.
