If the people landed from space, there would be a kind of isolation trying to figure out where they came from, their main aim in the country and their objective. The security will try to create a boundary between the chlorophyllian and the citizens of that country. Scientists will be trying to find out why those people are green and this will involve experiments.
According to the conflict theory, the citizen of America will be asking whether the people came to overthrow them and take off what belongs to them. According to symbolic interaction theory, the citizens will fear to interact with them as the chlorophyllian also fear to communicate with them, this will lead to slow development in language to the chlorophyllian people. Labeling theory helps to understand the approaches of deviant behavior. Therefore even if the scientist will be performing their experiments they should try to understand these people, for instance, they should not deny them sunlight because it is what makes them alive.
In term of receiving services, people from the United States will be receiving better services than the chlorophyllian people. The people of United States should not treat the chlorophyllian people as people who only depend on light. Instead, they should know that the people might also be depending on other factors for survival. Concerning stereotype, there is always that perception that aliens come with high levels of technology, intelligence, and motives aiming to take over the world.

For instance, if and a chlorophyllin wanted to take a flight to another country or destination, he or she will be denied a chance claiming that there is no vacant but in case an American wanted to travel he or she will be given a ticket without hesitation.
Finally, people of United States will be referring the chlorophyllian people as animal feeds by drawing a picture of an animal feeding on the chlorophyllian and people will be making jokes about them. On the other hand, the chlorophyllian will be fighting for identity by writing on the walls that they are also people (Calhoun, 2012).
