Admission Essay- Childhood Neighborhood
The neighborhood of an individual during his or her childhood shapes his or her personality. A person is likely to copy someone who impressed him or her during the early days of his or her life. Personally, my current character was influenced by the area where we lived when I was a child. Our neighbor, Miss Judith, was a lawyer and she had made her house a children’s home where she lived with children who did have parental care. Majority of the children she assisted had been disowned by their parents. Additionally, other children faced difficulties in life due to death of their parents. Hence, they had no one to take good care of them. Miss Judith used her career to seek justice for children whose parents were irresponsible. She believed that every parent should take care of his or her children (Bartlett et al., 2016, 8). She did all these to ensure that the society was a good place for everyone. All of my neighbors had cars and thus could rarely talk to each other. Everyone focused on his or her work.
The neighbor influenced me to work hard in my studies so that one day I can be a learned individual. I longed for a time I could use my profession to assist the less fortunate in the society. Every time I see someone suffering, I feel burdened that I should support him or her. Additionally, Miss Judith enriched my mind that I should not do everything because I could receive payment.

Wait! Discuss your childhood neighborhood and how it shaped you as a person. paper is just an example!

To date, I have helped many people to my level best. I believe that living near Miss Judith made me see things in a different dimension compared to other children. I find myself assisting the poor wherever I go. Additionally, I am also motivated in my studies to achieve my dreams so that I can improve the society as Miss Judith did. Moreover, I sometimes find myself quiet when with other people since I used to only talk to my family members at home.
