Should Abortion be Illegal?
Abortion has been and still is one of the most controversial global topics. On one side, proponents of abortion argue that it should be legal while on the other side, groups opposed to it argue that it should be illegal. Abortion should be legal since it allows a woman the right to choose when they would like to have children in relation to her relationship status, financial stability and age. According to Jones (2018), 85% of all abortion cases are usually done by unmarried women.

This confirms the need to legalize abortion to give such women the freedom of deciding when they are ready to raise children.
Response to Peer Post 1
I agree with the position of this post that abortion should be legalized to allow women options to women who have conceived against their will. Not all women who get pregnant usually do so out of their will. Some get pregnant as a result of rape or even incest. There are also cases where the pregnancy may threaten the life of the woman. If abortion is legal, women in such cases have options of terminating the pregnancy without any legal implications.
Response to Peer Post 2
I agree with the position of this post that abortion should be made legal since a woman is entitled to the choice of what she wants to do with her body. Just because some people do not support abortion, it should not be illegalized since such people are never in the position of the women who choose to abort. Moreover, it is agreeable that illegalizing abortion puts the life of pregnant women who wish to make abortion at a higher risk of harm since they may engage in non-hospital abortions.
