Education is the key towards improving ones chance in life that is why everybody is advised to be educated (Haugen & Musser, 2009). However, there arises a challenge in education systems. There are various schools in various states in united states that are not same at all. This makes the educational experience to the students very different. The difference exists in various states as well as from different school in the same state.
The difference in education experience stems from first and foremost; racial and ethnical diversity affects the welfare system making it possible for unequally distribution of resources thus bringing a difference in the educational system. Secondly, weak labor union makes it ineffective for the coming up with proper reforms in the education system to ensure that the educational differences are ironed out. Lastly, different administration system in various schools makes educational experience e in different school appear different (Haugen & Musser, 2009). Each school has its policies and form of governance to which education and lessons are adhered to. This plays a major part in the bringing about the different educational experience in different schools. A school having good management and leadership is associated with motivating the students to perform, receive support from parents and this lead to success. However, where the management is not good, the school cares less about students, and they end up having terrible results.

Despite the students training after school, there are few who choose to be teachers especially in fields such as math and sciences. This leaves a big gap in these subjects as the available trained teachers cannot satisfy the demand. This calls for an effort to be done to ensure that the equal opportunities are given to all fields. If really there are equal opportunities then each area of study should be considered. The scarcity of teachers in certain departments like math’s and science mirrors to the inequality in the education system.
The voucher system of allowing students to choose any school to attend is not a good idea. Even if this will give the student the right to choose, the some of the schools will be overloaded while other will have very few students. This gives rise to inequality is student population which leads to straining of resources available or underutilizing of the resources in the underutilized schools (Haugen & Musser, 2009).
