Effect of Mass Immigration on Western and Eastern Countries
Thesis: Although many would argue in favor of the negative effects of immigration for because of its social, economic, and political constraints, immigration has its share of benefits.
Primarily, people decide to leave their home country in search of better economic pastures to enable them to thrive and succeed hence improving their living standards. This gives rise to the economic reasons for immigration (logos).
Searching for better employment opportunities (cause and effect).
In the native countries, the available opportunities may not be well-paying hence the need to look for well-paying employment opportunities (data).
Looking for a better market for their products and skills.
Professionals with skills that stand out and low-level workplaces may want to look for better countries with requirements that match their skills (data).
Social reasons also lead to immigration since, in whole societies, there are people who are outcasts hence rejected in society thus they have to find somewhere where they are accepted (ethos).
Poverty.
High levels of poverty make people move from one country to another with the hope of salvaging whatever opportunity comes their way (personal example).
Ethnic purging.
Societies that reject people who are not their own provoke people who do not belong to the community to move away (individual example) (National Research Council 57).
Politically, people may receive threats against them and their families in cases where they are the opposing power to the people in authority thus several political reasons for immigration also wars caused politically lead to migration (ethos).

Brutal dictatorship.
Dictators, when they are in power, people have to go through a lot of difficulties to provide for their families. Hence they see it a necessity to move to other countries for a better life (individual examples).
Political wars.
Politically induced wars, whether cold wars or real wars make people run for their lives to foreign countries (individual examples).
Immigration is always looked at negatively but believe it or not; it has many benefits more than its harmful impacts (pathos).
For instance, case studies in the United States of America show that immigration has led to a decrease in crime rates in the country which is something positive in the country (case studies).
Also, immigration of a skilled and professional workforce leads to improved service delivery, and despite all the challenges the people have to face, something good comes from them at long last (case studies).
Conclusion (pathos).
The causes of immigration are numerous, and at times the immigrants return to their home when the issue is keeping them from home, but if the problem persists then they have to find a permanent settlement in the foreign country (well-known authority).
Similarly, the effect that immigration has both on the sending and receiving countries are numerous either positively or negatively hence it is better to look at both sides of the same coin (case studies).
