Environmental Perspectives
Précis 1 Introduction
Each of the articles state information about the world, there are four links under review and discussed in detail below. The First Nation and Climate Action are about group concerned with the world, as we know it. The third is about a proposal from Nestlé Waters Canada and how they are focused on environmental sustainability and protecting the area. What they all have in common is the environment, and how it has changed or improved.
Reflection Summary
Each website touches on the impact of industry on climate change and the environment. The first two is a combined definition of how humans need to fix the mess they have made. The world is a contaminated mess. Nations are coming together to attempt to repair the damage caused in the last couple of centuries. Nestlé appears to be responsible for the environmental problems in Canada if one considers what environmental groups say about them (WWA, 2015), (Lohan, 2007).
Précis 2 Honoring Earth
This article discusses what the Native people of Earth feel for the planet and the environment. They speak of guardianship for all living plant and creatures. These natives speak of their concerns about the negative impact of noxious waste and chemicals in the destruction of the earth (First Nation, 2016). There is a discussion about several policies they support to heal the damage caused by the humans of planet Earth. Now is the time to work together as one.

Reflection
First Nation is right on target that the time is now for all to work together in healing the planet. Everyone’s life depends on it. The environment is crumbling around us and our health lies in the balance. The incredible details on the web site touch just about every environmental problem on the planet. This website has inspired this student to be more cognizant of how to stop fouling the world. Everyone should get involved now.
Précis 3 is Climate Action
The United Nations held COP21 in Paris France in 2015. All the nations in the UN agreed to keep global warming under a limit of two degree Celsius. COP began in 1992 at Rio’s first Earth summit. The French took the leading role by hosting the summit (COP, 2015). It is one of the largest conferences with 195 groups and 50,000 contributors, all with saving the environment in mind. The COP21 contributors include 25,000 official country delegates.
Reflection
After reading this article, this student wants to become a contributor in the process of saving the environment. Human is causing climate change, and we must save the planet before it is too late. It is gratifying to see so many contributors to such an important topic. It definitely has to be a group effort. Human-made this mess, and humans must stop polluting the climate. It is now or never or we will die.
Précis 4 Nestlé’
The Middlebrook Water Company is under scrutiny by the Nestlé’ Waters Canada. Nestle Waters calls itself a “Healthy Hydration Company, Nestle is committed to managing resources to allow for long-term sustainability,” (Nestlé, 2016). The company considers traffic, noise, and sustainability a critical priority. Middlebrook could be a supplementary site if the water sources as meet the Nestlé’s current standards water for quality. The next paragraph will reflect on those statements made by Nestlé Waters of Canada’s website.
Reflection
More research is crucial to make sure companies like Nestlé’ Waters Canada speaks the truth when they state they are concerned for the environment. Middlebrook could be a supplementary well site if the water sources as meet the quality of the water by Nestlé’s current standards. Nestlé has other sites in Canada and appears to be diligent in its efforts to maintain sustainability in respect to the environment practices for air, traffic, and land management.
