Evaluation of the workplace

Introduction

This research arises from the need to evaluate the safety of workers in metal -derived material production plants, which is one of the most ignored aspects of the organization because it is considered an expense more than an investment. In general, the reduction of risk and accidents at work leads to greater stability and productivity, but not all organizations have this vision.

The commitment to provide and guarantee the well -being of workers in the organization entails the need to evaluate the work environment to reduce the risk of daily threats for workers at daily work. Work -related accidents and diseases are very expensive and may have serious consequences for the lives of workers and their families, however, organizations do not pay enough attention to the protection of safety and health at work at.

Protecting the life, health and integrity of all in the organization depends on the fulfillment of the obligations of employers and workers. In the production plant, to produce materials such as zinc plates, strollers and accessories, workers face a large amount of occupational hazards, which constantly threaten their safety and health. The development of the company did not take into account many factors that constantly put workers at risk.

Developing

Currently, companies that are dedicated to the manufacture of metal -derived materials have had great development at national level and over time they have been modified their productive processes in terms of machinery, processes, technologies.

Wait! Evaluation Of The Workplace paper is just an example!

During the development of these processes, workers are exposed to various risks, among them, physical risks, a topic on which the present degree work focuses. These risks, if they are not controlled in a proper way, can increase the probability of accidents at work and occupational diseases.

Panamanian companies need to implement measures as part of occupational risk prevention. Comply with applicable laws and regulations within the organization, so this work aims.

This study aims to evaluate the risks present at a production plant that produces galvanized, enameled and painted steel materials. This characteristic is a commercial obligation and a basic tool to avoid damage to workers’ health and safety. The purpose is to identify the dangers that represent the working conditions to: immediately eliminate the risk factors that can be easily eliminated, evaluate the risks that cannot be immediately eliminated and planned corrective actions.

The central core of the investigation is a detailed inspection of all aspects of the work that can cause injuries to workers. If you do not collect the workers’ opinions, the investigation would be incomplete because they are the ones who know their work best. To perform the evaluation, it is necessary to be able to identify the working conditions that give rise to risk.

Sometimes it is also necessary to make measurements (some of which can only be performed by a person with specific training). Regulations contain many risk standards, but can also be improved through collective bargaining, and even remembering the company’s health and safety committees. Occupational risk assessment includes the following steps:

  •  Identify current risks by work area.
  •  Consider groups of people who can be particularly sensitive to certain risks and determine who can suffer damage.
  •  Evaluate the risks and determine the actions to be taken.
  •  Record the results of the inspections, detailing the measures that have been taken to eliminate the risk.
  •  Plan and implement corrective measures.
  •  Check the evaluation and update it if necessary.

Accidents and occupational diseases do not constitute spontaneous events, should not be considered as unreasonable destinations, nor should they be considered as characteristics of certain occupations. On the contrary, they symbolize the consequences of causality in various facts and circumstances, if known and investigated, measures can be taken to avoid them safely as a complex activity that involves knowledge, technology and science.

Data collection and analysis of these facts should be carried out objectively using a basic research method based on the use of a systematic approach and attention to all important details. Risk assessment is an effective tool that begins with the improvement of safety and health at work and aims to identify hazards in the work environment, possible damage and consequences, and propose measures to mitigate existing risks.

conclusion

This research topic is not only used to develop a prevention plan to reduce accidents and occupational diseases, but to create a daily prevention attitude and thus both working and entrepreneurs realize the consequences that may occur whena certain order is executed in unsafe conditions or perform without due precautions.

This research will help identify the unsafe conditions and potential risks that exist in the company. For this reason, it is necessary to identify hazards and risk assessment, specifically the risks associated with the production of metal -derived materials such as zinc, cartProvide the company with a real diagnosis with which you can initiate the design and implementation process of your work safety and health management system.

The methodology used to evaluate the risk will allow us to quantify the magnitude of the different risks associated with the production of metal -derived materials, which will result in a rational action plan in which the priorities were determined according to the magnitude of the risksobtained. The purpose of this phase is to identify, evaluate and document the risks. This process includes identifying the causes and sources of risks, events or situations that may have an impact on the objectives of the organization.

The method is based on the detection of defects in the labor prevention area. Once a defect is detected, the probability of the accident is estimated and the level of risk derived from the existing defect is evaluated, taking into account the seriousness of the possible expected consequences. It is a complex activity that involves knowledge, technology and science. Data collection and analysis of these facts should be carried out objectively using a basic research method based on the use of a systematic approach and attention to all important details.
