Most people in the United States especially the blacks and Indians are addicted to their culture, and this has proved difficult to change. Food represents one of the widely held cultures by different Americans, and some activists either supports or opposes the traditional food eaten by the people. The traditional foods these people eat are fried meat, hush puppies, and fry bread contain excessive fats and sugars. Some of the activists oppose the food claiming that they are not healthy. Other activists view the consumption of this food as a way of solidifying their cultures and enhancing loyalty. However, it is essential for the people holding on these unhealthy foods to understand that their actions will be a source of their extinction and hence must change.
Food is the foundation of every community, and it will grow as long as the people follow a healthy diet. The medical practitioners and CDC have proved that consuming unhealthy food has the possibility of leading to the extinction of a race (Gurney et al., 2015). In particular, if the blacks and Indians continue eating fatty food, they will die due to related diseases for instance heart diseases (Gurney et al., 2015). Consumption of unhealthy food has the unfortunate effect of separating related people for instance through migration and hospitalization. The food ends up splitting the people and undermining the very solidarity and societal loyalty (Brulotte & Di Giovine, 2016). It is thus evident that the unhealthy food will disintegrate the races instead of solidifying them.

Wait! Food and Culture paper is just an example!

The Indians and blacks should eliminate the fats and sugars in their diets by engaging alternative food preparation methods like boiling and roasting.
Some activists support the traditional diet consumed by the southerners since it leads to cultural solidarity while other opposes its unhealthy nature. However, the diet can lead to the extinction of these communities since the fats can lead to heart-related diseases. The people should thus consider reducing the unhealthy aspect of these foods to meet the cultural demands and live healthily.References
