In addition, education empowers and encourages behavior change because of the increased knowledge. Educative communication raises awareness on healthy living and behavior change among members of the public. Thus, when the public becomes aware of regulatory policies, they can make healthy living decisions.
Correspondingly, program evaluation method is applicable for documenting the effect education the targeted community. The training evaluation method revealed the extent that the public was able to conceptualize the significance of health information and the necessity of preventive measures (Woolf, Jonas & Kaplan-Liss, 2008). In this view, implementation of educative programs resulted in a considerable reduction in the numbers exposed to cholera and diarrhea. Implying that the educative program was fundamental to informing people of how to stay healthy and avoid such pandemic diseases. In regards to ensuring cleanliness of the environment, healthy living amongst children and adults, the initiative typified a high level of knowledge conceptualization.

Hence, empowering the public with basic information about health is a comprehensive framework for disease eradication and improved social life. Essentially, the application of health promotion and disease prevention has been influential in reducing the number of deaths and deformities caused by cholera and polio. Similarly, expectant and first-time maternal mothers have benefited from the educative programs to improve health. Therefore, they have embraced vaccination of their children against polio as well as promote environmental health.
