Response – Topic 1
Overall, I agree with the sentiments provided in topic one. I noticed certain key points which stood out from the text. First, the author seem to detect whenever he reaches his maximum stress levels and immediately finds a way of relieving some it before he gets overwhelmed. I personally think such a step is crucial in enabling one to be more productive in his or her work. I also feel that constantly relieving stress is critical in avoiding a burnout or becoming a grumpy and awful person. Townsend & Morgan (2017) explain that stress overload can sometimes evoke suicidal thoughts which hinder ability to enjoy life. I think the author showed a good coping strategy to avoid going sinking into depression. In addition, the author’s strong faith in God also enables him to avoid worrying about things that are beyond his capabilities and instead, pray about such issues. I noticed that the religious approach is crucial in helping the writer lead a healthier lifestyle which minimizes stressful conditions.
Response – Topic 2
Although I agree with the writer, I feel sorry for her. I was particularly concerned that even though the writer suspected she had high stress levels, she has never attempted to seek assistance. Still, the fact that she does not have a sleep disturbance is a good sign since sleeping is considered one of the best way of managing stressful conditions. Moreover, I realized from her sentiments that stress if not dealt with keeps sticking around since she felt that the trauma she encountered in her childhood still contributes to her anxiety (Taylor 2012).

Wait! Health Psychology paper is just an example!

Response – Topic 3
I agree with some of the comments made by the writer. One issue that really stood out for me in the text is the close relationship between stress and health. I personally experience a difficult time eating or even socializing with friends whenever I feel stressed. However, I tend to disagree that a strong connection exist between personality and stress (Vollrath, 2001). I have seen many cases where celebrities who appear joyful and show positive energy suddenly commit suicide because no one peered beyond their happiness to help them through their struggles and pain (McGovern, 2018). I feel it is lethal to make an assumption that extroverted people are not really stressed since they laugh out loud or maintain a smiley face.
