My writing process
Writing is a critical step in the learning process of an individual. It’s through writing that one can effectively be evaluated to determine his or her understanding of a given topic. The traditional mode of testing learners and gauging them has always been through the written test, but also, the use of assignments is done through writing. Personally, my first step when writing an assignment is planning. It takes some time to plan the deadline of the assignment or the time needed to determine what exactly is required to complete the assignment. My next step is to analyze the task given hence take time to read and understand carefully the question presented. Analyzing helps me decide what the job is about and determine what I need to do to complete the assignment effectively. Thirdly, I take time to come up with the assignment outline where I come up with the structure for the assignment. For example, I develop the introduction, body and the conclusion outline which guides me throughout the writing process.
My fourth step involves finding information where I seek it from online sources and the library. It’s from this that I finally decide to write, based on what I have researched on. Lastly, after the completion of the writing process, I take time to proofread my work and edit it where possible to make it more accurate and remove any errors including grammatical errors. My best writing environment is that of a relaxed and quiet place free from any form of disturbance.

The move gives room for creativity and allows me to plan my work more smoothly. I effectively combat writing block by listening to music for a while which later frees up my mind to write. Also, I take time to change the writing environment and find something that can free up my mind to write.
