This study concerns itself with establishing the effects of youth participation in Agriculture Policy Programs in the Techiman Municipality of Ghana. Here, as it is in many other parts of the world, youth participation in agriculture-related activities have been relatively low. Growth in the formal education, low income from farming, lack of agricultural credit, land subdivision, and negative attitude have been found to contribute to this state. However, the situation is best explained by the theory of reasoned action. The theory seeks to identify and explain the issues that lead to a shift in the behavioral objectives.
The theory of reasoned action assumes that the behavior of a person largely depends on their intention of performing the behavior. It implies, therefore, that an individual’s attitude is important in determining how they behave. Specifically, this theory will be useful in explaining the perceived behavior of the youths in the region under consideration and their actual participation in activities related to agriculture. Nevertheless, this theory also acknowledges that there exist limits that influence a person’s attitude and assumptions made in this research will be alive to the limitations.
The presence of expanding and vibrant agricultural markets across the world and in regions like Ghana offers a world of opportunities for the youth in these places to participate and generate income thus breaking from the vicious cycle of poverty.

Wait! Investigating the impact of Youth Participation in Agriculture Policy Programmes in Techiman Municipality in Ghana paper is just an example!

Youth participation is further influenced by the numerous incentives created by among others the government, non-governmental organizations as well as agricultural agencies. However, it remains that the incentives are yet to be fully tapped owing to the insufficient engagement of the youth in the sector of agriculture.
Youth participation in Agriculture being an issue of magnificent importance as indicated above, the theory of reasoned action helps to expound on the effects that a sufficient involvement would achieve both qualitatively and quantitatively. Therefore, this segment provides the lenses with which to review existing literature on what the effect of youth engagement in Agriculture is currently and has been in the past.
