On the other hand, the impact of technology on children’s relationship has become conspicuous and is impelling both sides leading to a more divided relation between the traditional starring roles played by children and their parents. On a similar note, it is blurring the similar lines between children and parents. Research is showing that two decades down the line, children that have been consistently watching television, and out of it can get information from popular cultures which is telling them that their parents are self-centered, not mature, generally have no ideas and also incompetent, some of these sources include: Family Guy, Two and a Half Men, Teenage Daughter with many others but not forgetting the reality SuperNanny and Housewives franchise TV shows.

In conjunction, with the increasingly advancing technology it is thus leading to major divisions among children in many ways, just to mention but a few is that children are getting more carried by technology through texting, and playing video games. This is thus affecting their communication manner with their parentsCITATION Sam10 p “, 14” l 1033 (Huntington, Ajami and Mahbubani, 14). Additionally it true that parents would struggle to gain aptitude and comfort with the latest technology that their children are already vast with. As a result, of inadequate technological intelligence by parents, it makes impossible to have less power over their children in regulating its use.
It is thus important to note due to the advancements in technology it is leading to a more pervaded society since there is less concern from both sides that is parental side and the children side due to inadequate awareness of the latest technology.
