Discourse communities or groups seek to communicate about various specific fields, issues, and topics (Nordquist 1). I happen to belong to multiple discourse communities that discuss various issues with various related issues. As a member of these numerous communities, I have to admit that it has been hard juggling my roles and responsibilities. However, in one way or the other, I have so far managed to balance them. Usually, I do program myself. I have the timetable that reminds me of where and when I should be in a particular place. Also, I do strive to communicate earlier to other communities when I feel I am unable to attend the meeting especially when the sessions of two or more groups are conflicting. In this sense, it is apparent that my discourse communities overlap.
Initially, I felt I was unable to fit in with other individuals who were already in a particular ongoing discourse community. However, this class has helped me gain the much-needed confidence that enables me to join a current discourse community comfortably. Further, it has given me the confidence to work along with other members of the various groups. More importantly, I see myself as an emerging expert in my chosen field. This is because I belong to different discourse communities most of which are related. As such, I can grab various concepts from various individuals or experts. This has so far enabled me to learn many essential ideas that have surely given me mileage in my chosen field.

As a professional industrialist, engineer, engine builder, and a race car driver Bisi Ezerioha has a lot to do to ensure that he does not delegate more time on a single profession leaving out other tasks to. Therefore, Bisi provides that he is at the right place at the right time to ensure that he manages all his responsibilities as and when they fall due (Nordquist 1).
