4. Why is it Critical to Implement ERP and RFID in MyaPadaithar?
4.1 Company Background
MyaPadaithar is an importing and distributing company which was established in 1966 in Myanmar. Over time the company has increased its target market and extended its operation to Mandalay and Yangon. It has also ventured into the restaurants, hotels, retailing shops, supermarkets, and automobile spare parts shops as part of diversifying its risks.
4.2 Supply Chain IntegrationSupply chain management is one of the essential departments in an organization. It is responsible for ensuring that the firm receives the required items to propel production and that the products are dispatched appropriately and in time. Technology is dynamic, and thus requires firms to be flexible enough to accommodate changes. Supply chain integration provides that a firm incorporates technology and other functions in the procurement process to ease the process and ensure accountability and avoid repetition of actions (Benjabutr, 2018). It also involves the participation of the various stakeholders through the sharing of information to manage various firms within the supply chain as one entity. By so doing, the firm establishes trust and transparency between the firm and the suppliers and consumers too. Mya Padai Thar should integrate these systems with suppliers and customers. Supply chain integration also allows for the segmentation of consumers to increase efficiency and save time.

Wait! Why is it Critical to Implement ERP and RFID in the company paper is just an example!

Case: ERP Effect in BELL and Company

(Jakovljevic, 2018)
Enterprise Resource Planning is a system or software process that integrates most office practices and automates them (Beal, 2018). BELL and Company use Acumatica Distribution Edition as their ERP. It aids in sales order management, advanced inventory, requisition management, purchase order management, among others (Acumantica, 2017). It ensures timely supply of materials, saves time, keeps track of costs and saves them too.
The process saves time, allows for the tracking of items throughout the production process. The management can easily make efficient, informed decisions because of the availability of real-time reports. It will allow the firm to track deliveries and organize them to avoid confusion.
4.3 Supply Chain AgilityRadio Frequency Identification is a technology that proves to be essential to the supply chain management (Oghazi, 2016). It allows firms to track any item within the changing, hence easing the process and saving time. Mya Padai Thar receives items of varying nature from different manufacturers. This kind of supply can be overwhelming if the firm lacks a form of integration, the chances of succeeding are limited. Supply chain agility, through the use of RFID and ERP, allows for flexibility and informed decision making. It also gives priority over products that have the most value to the company. The time the firm will save also gives it a competitive advantage over other firms. Currently, Mya Padai Thar uses minimum technology, but with an agile supply chain, the firm can use inventory efficiently to meet the demands upon it.
Case: RFID Unilever Supply Chain Agility

Unilever uses RFID and ERP to classify suppliers according to the risks and opportunities that they present. The process allows the firm to manage international suppliers in their operations in many countries all over the world. They evaluate their suppliers to decide which ones to do business with (Unilever, 2018, 13).
Mya Padai Thar could benefit from such a system to ensure they concentrate on suppliers that bring the most value to the firm.
4.4 Achieving Strategic FitStrategic fit is all about aligning supply chain strategy with a competitive strategy (Chaharsooghi & Heydari, 2011). It, therefore, involves utilizing the processes of ERP and RFID to make the best of the supply chain management process. Mya Padai Thar needs to concentrate on the most important supplies that generate the most profits; the air freshener from Thailand and the car battery from Korea. However, they have to do so in a way that does not ignore the rest of the products in the processes. The implementation of ERP and RFID will aid in the process of doing so, hence allowing the firm to make timely deliveries according to the demands of the market. It will also increase accuracy in the handling of inventory.
Case: ERP II and RFID at CUMULUS Consulting

(YASTEQ, 2018)
To seamlessly integrate RFID technology with their ERP, Cumulus developed an easy-to-use native Android application called MFGX. This intuitive application automates a number of processes that were previously manual for Viking Products. It identifies inventory and automatically enters its location information into the ERP, eliminating the need for manual updates (Culumus, 2018).
