Apple Corporation has been one of the most successful companies around the globe. The products offered by the company are unique thus making the firm penetrate deep into the American market. The innovative products made by the Apple Corporation tend to attract many of its users because the firm dedicates a lot of resources into conducting market research. Apple has become a well-established firm thus undertaking the opportunity to internationalize and operate in global market such as China. The company has of making sure all people have acquired products that innovative and unique. The Steve Jobs initiated the culture of innovativeness in the company which Tim Cooks, the current CEO has continued with the culture in leading in technological advancements. Apple Watch is an innovative product by the Apple Inc that was a commercial development that has become a success story (Cavusgil, 2016).
Leadership at the Apple Corporation has been outstanding with each leader leaving the firm better than they had found it before. The kind of leadership that is practiced at the firm are in line with the description that Kotter has given on leadership and management. According to Kotter (2013), there is a distinction between management and leadership. Leadership is regarded as the art of inspiring, motivating, mentoring, and a role model to the employees being led. Kotter has defined management as making sure that the day to day expectations of a firm have met.

Many people in the society want to be associated with the Apple Watch which is a brand from the Apple, Inc. The Apple Watch has transformed the way people viewed technological advancement since it is a product that is of great significance in the society. Apple Watch moved from concept to commercial development under the leadership of Tim Cook. The commercialization of the idea was swift because most people were thrilled by the idea and wanted to get hold of the product. The efforts that were led by Tim Cook in launching the product were aligned to the Kotter’s description of leadership and management. Tim Cook has coped with the skillful utilization of resources as well complexities to ensure that idea has been commercialized the idea of Apple Watches. The product made a positive impact to the society especially due to the fact that it was a quality product and an innovative idea. Additionally, the watch was unique because it could be synched with phones to receive and make calls. The ethical implication that had an impact on the product launch was the lawsuit that had to be filed by Dynamic Advances who alleged that Siri infringed a patent that was owned by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. However, the case has been dropped where Apple agreed to pay $24.9 Million in 2012. The case of Zhizhen Network Technology which was filed in 2012 is likely to have ethical implication to the launch of the new product in the region (Lashinsky, 2012).
