There exists many organization in America, which promote health and wellness. Whereas some of them are government owned, some of them operate as non-governmental organizations. Such organizations have realized the need for good health, and the potential benefits associated with wellness, and are hence working to avoid the negative implications associated with poor practices on the same. This essay aims at providing in-depth details about the Center for disease control (CDC), as an organization that promotes health and wellness in a culturally diverse environment. Below are the explanations.
The Center for Disease control is a public health institute, established under the federal agency and has headquarters in Atlanta (DeSisto et Al., 2014). Although the organization serves the diverse American Population, it also has some international links, since it also helps in other developing countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. In the American perspective, the organization serves diverse cultures, incorporating refugees, immigrants, and individuals of diverse races. It has offices in major parts of the nation, as well as an international perspective.
The organization has been the top leader in nationwide efforts related to health and wellness. Some of their major undertakings in regards to this include promotion of health services, prevention of diseases, prevention of diseases and prevention of Injury. The organization achieves this through diverse strategies that include setting up effective prevention mechanisms and enhancing safe environments.

It also achieves this through educating people on the best diets that facilitate good health. In addition to these aspects, the organization also achieves this through detecting several health problems and hence investigating them. Also, this gets achieved by providing leadership and training on health and related aspects (Jacobsen, 2014).
Conclusion
The Role of CDC in promoting and improving aspects related to health and wellness promotion cannot be underestimated. The organization has gradually grown, as compared to its state on the establishment, and has continued to achieve its objectives, mentioned at the beginning not only in America but also in other parts of the world.
