Collaborative system of management is very significant in any business environment. This is because it raises customer’s loyalty and satisfaction, it boosts productivity in terms of introducing new brand or services to the market and it improve the organization’s leadership structures by reducing stress and providing a conducive working environment. Contrary, top leadership plays an important role in the culture of collaboration. For instance, their employees are assign tasks that match with their talent to ensure quality production. Secondly, they have trained staffs on effective collaboration standards. Thirdly, the company has clarified duties and responsibility to ensure everyone is on the same page. Finally, the top leadership always holds productive meeting that portrays clear agenda and objectives. Comparing the different between collaborative and non-collaborative is very clear. Collaborative succeed because of the players involved themselves socially in terms of sharing ideas while non-collaborative group always failed because of poor communication skills and system.

Collaborative culture in a business environment is essential in terms of engaging the employees in critical decision-making programs and daily operations of the firm. Addition, collaborative culture ensures that quality driven employees are employed, retained, and promoted to the high rank of the management.

Consequently, the roles that leaders play in ensuring that collaborative system is achieved is through: being a role model for improving their collaboration skills and communication skills. Secondly, creating a sense of community where all employees can connect with one another. Thirdly, training staffs on effective collaboration standards. Fourthly, clarify duties and responsibility to ensure everyone is on the same page. Fifthly, the leader should hold a productive meeting that portrays clear agenda and objectives. Lastly, assign each employee task that match with their talent to ensure quality production (Di, 2011).
In real life, I have experienced both situation of being in a collaborative group and that of being in a non-collaborative group. For example, I was the captain of the college football team, and I recall everyone in the team contributed new ideas in term of coming up with dribbling techniques or the general field formation strategies. In short, every team member had a part to play either physically or social in the benefit of the team, and we were able to win three titles for school. On the other hand, in a non-collaborative group, I was in charge of school group assignment schedule to be submitted in a week. The group members were not collaborative because they were absent during decision time, some switch off their cell phone on the day of presentation, and the ones who participated in the discussion were shy or clueless about the topic being discussed. I end up contributing ninety percent of the assignment. Comparing the different between collaborative and non-collaborative in these cases is very clear. Collaborative succeed in the football scenario because of the players involved themselves socially in terms of sharing ideas while non-collaborative group assignment scenario failed because of poor communication skills and system.
In my opinion, Coca-Cola Company has a culture of collaboration. This is because it has entered into an arrangement with recycling companies that will enable them to obtain the recycled bottle. Additionally, the branding team always involve their employees in choosing the promotion brand each year. Collaboration structures at the Coca-Cola Company have succeeded. This is because it is a beverage company that has an established brand in the global market. So far, it is the only beverage brand that has branches worldwide. It engages with the employees on critical decision-making strategies on how to promote the brand. Coca-Cola Company top leadership plays an important role in the culture of collaboration. For instance, their employees are assign tasks that match with their talent to ensure quality production. Secondly, they have trained staffs on effective collaboration standards. Thirdly, the company has clarified duties and responsibility to ensure everyone is on the same page. Finally, the top leadership always holds the productive meeting that portrays clear agenda and objectives.
