Abstract
Road accidents are the most death-causing events. This is one reason the public safety experts call it a deadly epidemic. It cuts across everyone, and most of them just occur as a result of ignorance. Parents should stop giving out their cars to their children especially those still at a tender age. This is because the consequences of these accidents will not only be evident in their children but also in parents. The most annoying thing is that the fault will be imposed on the parents even if their children sneaked out with the car without their conscience. Therefore, a public warning has to be made available to everyone, and proper measures must be taken upon those who violate the set rules and regulations. Besides, legal procedures should be put in place before anyone is licensed to drive. This will be of great help to our teenagers since they will have limited driving opportunities thus a reduction in road accidents.
Personal Narrative about a Car Accident
Introduction
The rate at which car accidents are occurring on our roads is very alarming. Some of these accidents are not only caused by elders and mature people but also the youth. When parents give out their cars to their children, they must consider the safety precautions of their children and other road users. Even though they will want to make their children happy by giving them their vehicle to joy ride, they must understand by doing, so other people’s life is at stake. This occurred to me at some point during the weekend.

Wait! Personal narrative about car accident and learning a lesson paper is just an example!

We cannot deny the fact that weekends in Qatar are very boring especially when one wakes up in Majlis on a late Saturday and finds out what they can only do is to drive even though they are not legalized. As one of the boring weekend victims, I was caught up in the same scenario at 2 Am when my parents were not yet awake. I made it a habit of taking their car and go cruising. Usually, nothing could happen, but this time round it was not my day.
Body
It was on 16th may 2015 when I woke up very early before sunrise. Everything outside was very quiet, and darkness had filled the entire Majlis. Being bored with sleep, I decided to wake up and take a car drive to the Saudi border. I enjoyed the nature out there, and it felt good being alone with no one to interfere with whatever I was doing. So I can say I enjoyed to my fullest. However, on my return, I had an experience I will never forget. My day suddenly turned sour when I got involved in an accident. I could not recall exactly what happened until when I was in an ambulance when the memory of what happened appeared to my mind. I remember feeling sleepy and tired after a short moment of enjoyment and instead of me driving the car by the roadside and giving myself time to relax for a while, I simply drove right away to our home. Little did I know of the impending accident. The most shocking thing was that I did not have my seatbelt and despite me hitting a pole, track and a big pole I was not badly injured. Thanks to the Almighty God. What I only got was a scratch on my eyebrows and a small piece of glass which stuck on my knuckle. Even though I was still alive, the thought of myself being dead scared me a lot, and I was afraid of the troubles I had caused to my family. My mother was there standing beside my sick bed with tearful eyes. I guess her tears meant something good. She was happy her youngest son who had involved in a fatal accident still had a chance to live again. However seeing her in that sad mood was not a good experience to me especially because I was the one behind it.
Conclusion
That moment was a learning lesson for me, and I promised my mother that I would never repeat the same ordeal. Since the consequences were not only on me but also to the entire family, my resolution was that I would never drive on my own and if it is necessary, then I must put on my seatbelt.
