Brown color in the eyes is considered to be dominant whereas the blue color is recessive. Blue eyes need two copies to appear in the genotype as shown in the diagram below:

According to the diagram illustrated above, blue eyes is recessive allele, Moreover, brown eyes are dominant allele which require only one copy to appear in the phenotype.

For instance, an individual has the right to know his/her genetic status. However, such rights are contrary to theoretical arguments which state that certain issues should be confidential. In most cases, people realize that they are at a risk of a serious disease when it is too late. During such circumstances, there is no solution which is likely to be undertaken successfully, therefore the ill individual’s life remains at a high risk due to lack of treatment.
Genetic tests have become very common and individuals realize that they face risks of particular diseases which have no treatment.

The burden of knowledge may become unbearable to some people. Patients being examined have to sign a request to be informed about their results. In case one does not sign, they are not revealed to them. For instance, an individual may decide to be tested for a disorder which prevails in the family, being almost sure that he/she suffers from that disease which has no cure, such an individual may oppose being told the possible outcome. Many people get depressed and view life as being meaningless.
Claiming not to know the outcome may be contrary to the doctor’s duty to reveal the possible risks to the patients. Any person who refuses to know his/her status deprives the family from knowing the truth which is very risky. Important information about medicine should not consider the patient’s interests. Tests conducted are helpful in informing families of serious risks likely to occur in future.
Genetic tests are carried out to find out the infant’s gender and find out whether there are chances of any abnormal genes likely to develop as the fetus develops. In case there is a risk of pre mature birth, the lungs are checked to see their progress in maturity. Individuals should be examined by health care practitioners to determine whether there are possible risks likely to occur after birth. Moreover, the potential parents should have regular checkups to ensure that the unborn baby is in a good condition, that is there is no exposure to any risk.
Several risks can be handled whereas others may lead to further complications. For instance, if a practitioner is aware that a particular test may lead the parent to carrying out an abortion ,it should not be undertaken. However, if both the parent and the fetus are at a peril, the situation should be solved instantly. Prevention is better than cure. As such, it is advisable to save one life rather than lose both. Experts should be very keen since abortion is a crime which should be addressed. since it denies innocent infants the right to life.
If abortion was allowed after such situations, many individuals could fake it in order o avoid the obligations that are linked to parents. It should only be carried out at a very unavoidable situation, therefore the authority in charge should grant permission to perform such kind of activities. Moreover, it leads to health risks which are likely to lead to a parent’s death. Individuals involved risk the chance of getting pregnant again. Memories remain vivid which may be traumatizing causing depression. Every human being has a purpose in life and denying a child the right to life may seem like posing a challenge to the creator, considering that life is God’s gift.
X-men is a highly viewed fictional film which involves superheroes. There are characters whose goal is to mutate the entire world and view the outcome. Machines are innovated to carry out the activity which is opposed since it may lead to death of many individuals in US. Individuals are brain washed in order to be submissive and give the required information. Pharmaceutical organizations come up with the solution to depress the mutation to control the mutant family.
If the movie was a reality, I would support the humans side since mutation causes diseases such as diabetes which is very common. Furthermore, genetic disorders are prevalent in such situations. It causes development delays in human beings. Mutant genes offer individuals super human capabilities. I would prefer to be like the character known as Jean Grey who possessed mental abilities. She was in a position to block teleporters. Moreover, the lady was in a position to block the X-men jet. It was easy for her to fly and protect herself from a pool of water such as a lake.
