The Ethical Use of Technology in Business
In the current business world, technology has become an integral part of the external business environment. Technology has been applied in myriad ways in business operations which include but are not limited to, the collection of data, communication, processing and storage of data, electronic commerce and surveillance (Hartman et al., 385). However, the use of technology has been linked with several ethical issues which affect these operations in a significant way.
The use of technology in the internal business environment has been subject to misuse of technology tools resulting in unethical technological practices within the business environment. For this reason, such unethical practices present a major risk and an immediate challenge to the managers and the supervisors at the workplace. In an attempt to ensure that technology tools in the business are deployed most effectively, it is important to articulate the duties and responsibilities of the employees at any particular situation concerning the use of technology in the organization. For instance, in Miranda’s case, the misuse of technology for personal purposes can be termed unethical malpractice in the workplace since it infringes on her ability to perform her responsibilities and at the same time lowers the business productivity per employee (Hartman et al., 386).
Despite the fact that socialization in the form of freedom of speech and freedom of expression are constitutional rights, the manner in which employees handles their private life in the public can have a significant influence on the business reputation and productivity.

To be honest, I hate writing. That’s why when my professor assigned me with coursework, I just took the easy way out and hired StudyZoomer to assist me. I’m absolutely satisfied with the result, no flaws.
