Abstract
All ambitious phone companies hope and want to become the leaders in their niche. However, there is only room for a single brand in most cases. While most mobile companies find the need to invest in advertising strategies such as SEO and social media platforms, Apple has a different approach to the promotion of its brand as well as its products. Most companies struggle and battle each other by advertising with brute force. However, Apple has taken a different turn and have reaped their rewards through mastering a global niche market. The company fails to accommodate a marketing budget and never advertises their products anywhere, yet their dominance in the market continues to prevail. Mobile networks are left with little choices to pick from through a series of branding restrictions provided by the Apple Company which is dedicated to the appearance and information it targets to provide to its consumers. With the next coming Apple mobile device, the paper herein analyses and discusses the company’s promotional strategies.

Habitually, each apple product the company is always in a constant attempt to improve the experiences of their users as well as lure new customers. The company focuses on adding new features that were not available in any of their previous products and at the same time bring a touch of change the design of the product. The product also maintains a unique feel that propels the marketing strategy of the company (Qijunmo, 2015).
Minimal efforts are spent on the advertising part of the product. However, as soon as a new version is launched in a press conference, all network operators and the Apple users promote the brand. There are given regulations that the network operators undergo before advertising is done. The main networks which include Optus, Vodafone, and Telstra participate in the promotion of the new product.
The mobile phone operators play a part in boosting the new products by the company. Customers from other smaller network operators such as Lyca are required to pay a full price for the mobile if they want to experience the new phone. A method within which the smaller operators can get more benefits with the new iPhone requires that they advertise their mobile plan with the new iPhone. This way, they remain competitive in the industry.
The apple company has not been known to use social media platforms to promote their product. However, they mainly focus on the needs of their customers as opposed to their wants, unlike numerous other phone companies. Social media platforms are used to discuss the new products from the apple company by their users. This way, immediately a product by the company is show cased, a lot of attention is received from all the smart phone users, and this information is shared on social platforms. This ensures that the apple company does not promote any of its products by themselves. Instead, the market itself promotes the company. Just as the previous iPhone products have been promoted, the iPhone 8 will be no different.
