One of the world’s rarest spectacles got witnessed on the 31st January. This dazzling geographical phenomenon is one of its kind and is known as the super blue blood moon. Astronauts, geographers, and scholars got fathomed at the occurrence of such a magnificent creation. Words alone are not enough to explain the appearance of this embodiment that is a result of nature and the creation of God. It contributes to the exact definition of God as all-powerful and beyond human understanding. The bewilderment caused by this once in a lifetime event leads to the writing of this paper. Upon viewing the photos taken of this moon, it is evident that it gets filled with all but beauty. However, questions have gotten raised on what the components of this phenomena are that contributes to the overall splendor appreciated by everyone. Happening to make history and fall in the global record books the name of this moon originates from the meeting up of a supermoon, a blue moon, and a total lunar eclipse. This fact contributes to its name the triple combo since it involves three bodies. In North America like in other places the event took more than one day (Emspak, 2018). For instance, in this location, this celestial event lasted two days from the Tuesday to Wednesday, January 31st when it marked its full meet up and appearance.

This occurrence took two days because the eclipse and the moons first happen before they get conjoined in presence. A supermoon takes place when the moons nearest approach to earth is at the same time with a full moon. This day coincides with that of the lunar eclipse. The resultant effect becomes the covering of the moon in a reddish glow thus its name “blood” moon. On the other hand, a blue moon originates from the occurrence of two full moons in the same month (Emspak, 2018). This Wednesday marked the blue moon since it was the second full moon to get seen in January.
The aspect of this event was so mesmerizing because it is historically long since this got to experience. The last happening of this geographical feature was way back in 1982 during December. The beauty of this spectacle gets attributed to the beauty of the individual bodies that encompass it as well as its rare occurrence over time. Astronauts wait patiently for such happenings that take very long durations (Emspak, 2018). How spectacular it is that their long wait finally happened this year and is still fresh in their memory since it seems like it was yesterday when the sky got covered in the super blue blood moon.
It is evident that the spectacle witnessed this past month is adorable. Photos taken as future souvenirs are inexplicable but eye-catching. Looking at the celestial bodies, one cannot believe that there exist explanations behind their occurrence since they look like they are out of this world. However, thanks to human beings there is positive thinking as well as a yearning to accept and appreciate such memorable moments. This aspect has contributed to lovely records of this event that will get used in teaching. The witnesses of the happening will equally have a tale to tell future generations and those who missed the rare opportunity.
