Field Experience B: Week 3 Small Group Lesson
To ensure that students understand and help me in ensuring that the lesson plan is effective and it yields fruitful results, I will first take them through the entire lesson plan. I will ensure that before I start applying it, they get a general impression and give their views on the plan. This will greatly help in the implementation of the plan as well as its efficiency. Secondly, I will execute the plan systematically. For instance, I will teach the topics as they appear in the plan. Through this, it will be easier to gradually introduce the concept to the students and ensure a strong foundation for other complex concepts in the course of the class (Stigler & Hiebert, 2009). Furthermore, I will ensure that I take into account students views on the plan.
Since time is a crucial factor in this case, I will ensure that it is strictly adhered to avoid collision of different programs in the plan. Each activity will be executed at the required time and in case of any eventuality; I will assess and find out the best time which will not interfere with the schedule. Additionally, I will use the indicated resources to execute the plan. Since these resources are the most preferred, I will introduce them to the students and ensure that the language used as well as the approach in the resources is easy.
In all classes, I will welcome room for questions and clarifications.

I will ensure that while executing the plan, I avoid any factor that may trigger stress and unnecessary pressure on students. Even though the plan is more of fixed, using my expertise, I will adjust it and render it flexible to ensure that it does not cause strains among students. The different modes of learning will be used differently depending on the specific topic (Singh, 2007). Discussions will help the students grasp and understand some topics while examinations and assignments will cover all the topics.
My Observation
In my field experience, I noted that the teacher had an easy time using the plan. The plan helped her significantly since she was able to follow it and therefore adhere to her schedule without any difficulties. It is notable that the plan provided good guidance to not only the teacher but also the students. They all were psychologically and physically prepared for different topics in prior. This enabled learning to be conducted effectively. On the same note, the teaching outcomes were met since the lesson plan was efficient to both students and the teacher.
My Satisfaction Level of the Lesson Plan

My Ability to Execute the Lesson Plan
The design of the plan made it easy to execute it. The fact that it is objective and clear enabled me to follow it and teach students the lesson systematically. When the plan is followed to the latter, it becomes easy to ensure that all the learning outcomes are met. Therefore, while it becomes easy for teachers to teach the particular lesson, students learn easily and without strain.

What Was Successful?
According to the plan, the fact that the objectives were stated and designed in a way that makes them easy to execute makes the plan successful. With these objectives, the plan incorporated the required resources as well as key strategies to ensure that both the teacher as well as the student benefit from it.
What Improvements Could Be Made?
However, there are some minor adjustments which can be made in the plan to make it more successful. For instance, the number of primary sources can be added to make the students have a wide range of sources to get information from.
Whether the Lesson Plan Was Assessed Effectively
From its layout and design, the plan has been examined critically. All components have been identified and assessed to confirm their efficiency as far as the plan is concerned (Karten, 2011).
What I Might Do Differently In Week 4.
In week 4, I will ensure that I include the additional resources. I will also increase the number of primary materials to ensure that the students are provided with a wide range of options. On the same note, I will increase the strategies for ensuring that the students reach the learning outcomes easily.
Did You Change Your Delivery Of The Lesson From Week 3? Was The Outcome Better?
I did not change the delivery of week three lesson. Instead, I made minor changes to various sections such as the resources used and the strategies to be employed to help execute the plan. With these changes, the outcome was improved.
