The Empire began mainly with the great conqueror Alexander the Great. Who was prepared by his father since childhood to be a great ruler. He began controlling the Macedonian peoples who rebelled for the death of his father Philip. He imposed authority and commanded his army directly to control all these areas where they disagree. After achieving this he could concentrate on his goal of conquering other areas. The Greek army was not extensive compared to the other world powers. It was not thought that he was able to become an empire, but Alejandro’s skill knew how to manage, organize and use strategies to conquer new territories. His military height got him in just eleven years to defeat powers such as the great Persian empire and a great territory of Asia. This empire was governed by King Alejandro, the Council of Ministers, Prosecretary, Guardian of the Treasury and Chief of the Qualks. After the death of Alexander the Great, the Empire gradually fell, the empire was divided by its generals, but over time they began rivalries between them, mainly because of the cultural details that differentiated them. Those who ended completely with the Empire would be the Romans and dedicated themselves to controlling Greece.

The Greek Empire was not only based on its expansion of territory. Also spread the Greek culture in many ways. Language, art, religion literature and more things were the result of merger of the beliefs and cultures of all the peoples conquered Greece. Social groups at this time were distinguished by citizens, foreigners, women and slaves. The economic activities that constituted Greece were mainly agriculture, crafts, livestock and commerce. Education is an important thing that Greece left, it is similar to what we used today at that time education was mainly private, however they had also public. The Greek Empire was one of the great powers in universal history conquering empires with the greatest number of people in the army and more powerful.

With this research report we can conclude that the most important period in Greek history was the Hellenistic era. It is mainly characterized in the life of Alexander the Great, and his conquests against the Persian Empire and the conquest of India and Asian countries.
