Stereotypes and the media

To talk about stereotypes, it is important to be clear that they are stereotypes. A stereotype is a structured image of ideas that resemble a concept model, which is attributed to a group of people or social groups that is mostly preconceived by young people and is used as a label in social classes, religion, aspectseconomic and cultural. In addition, these labels are more used in the direction of the so -called “beauty standards” and that, if one thinks for a moment, they influence everyday life in many young people, altering their physical health and of course their mental health.

At present, the media have had a very notable place in the lives of many teenagers and young people, these means are used considerably in terms of endless information of different types, taking into account that it goes according to theirInterest, however, when talking about the media, it is also importantare.
