Abstract
Technology is invading almost all areas of human life with numerous positive impacts. The education sector is one of the positively impacted by the technology in the classroom concept. Educators are using technology to pass information to the learners while learners are using technological products to acquire digital skills like using the internet, and typing. Some of the technological products include computers, social media, and smart boards. Computer aids the educators to research various disciplines while the students use them to practice typing and internet skills. On the other hand, intelligent boards are crucial for presentation which is an improvement over the traditional projectors. Technology has numerous benefits to learners. For instance, technology in the classroom helps prepare the students for the future which is projected to be principally digital. Technology in the classroom also allows learners to retain learned materials better in their brain. Technological resources like PowerPoint are known to aid the students in grasping knowledge better than solely relying on traditional methods like textbooks.

Wait! technology in the classroom paper is just an example!

Learners and other stakeholders in the education sector are using computers, mobile devices and the associated application including social media platforms in their daily classroom work and management of school activities. Notably, technology has a considerable impact on learning modalities whereby educators are focusing on developing soft skills aligned with technology in their students (Armstrong, 2014). The focus of this paper is to identify the various benefits of technology in the classroom including its use.
There are numerous ways in which technology in the classroom is being used. Firstly, students are being introduced to the computer world at an early age. Teachers are the predominant users of computers while students use them for learning purposes. Computers are significant in that they allow the users to access the internet, practice typing skills and view educational materials (Campbell & Kluver, 2014).
Smartboards are the second category of technologies found in modern classrooms. Smart boards are an advancement of traditional projectors. They include features like interactivity, hands-on functionality and the ability to pair with other devices such as computers and tablets. They are also low maintenance and environment-friendly. The last major category of technology in the classroom is social media which has received the nod as a recognized form of learning. Groups like Scholastic Teachers are a perfect example of social media platform used in the classroom (Kumar & Rani, 2016).
Technology in the classroom has many benefits. The first key benefit is that it prepares the students for the future which is projected to be 80 percent digital. Secondly, technology in the classroom helps learners to retain materials better (Campbell & Kluver, 2014). For instance, presenting assignments through PowerPoint will have a significant impact on how much students recall in the future. In conclusion, educators should increase the uptake of technology in the classroom for the benefits of the learners.
