As Pope Francis (2015) said: abortion is never a solution. We must listen, accompany and understand from our place in order to save the two lives: respect the smallest and helpless human being, adopt measures that can preserve their life, allow their birth and then be creative in the search for paths that take him to Its full development.

Humanity has experienced in the last century many changes that have become extraordinary, changes that have made society advance in an accelerated way and that today’s adolescents do not enjoy their full youth as they did in past centuries, they only engage in stereotypes that take them in cases greater to death. In these times, abortion is one of the many issues of debate worldwide, since there are different positions and opinions about this, just as there are people who are against there are also those who are in favor, and each one of Your criteria will have to be respected. In today’s society there are endless factors that affect the problem of abortion, taking into account the misuse of sexual relations and lack of communication with parents. Mainly I will tend to define what abortion is, it is understood within the scope of medicine and scientific that abortion is the interruption of a premature pregnancy where the fetus is in a non -viable period of its intrauterine life, that is, , when cannot survive outside the uterus and this can be given naturally or voluntarily. Natural abortion is the death of the fetus intrauterinely and can occur due to different causes, either due to hormonal problems of women, genetics, or some vice such as alcoholism and smoking. While, voluntary abortion is done either by the request of the woman who is pregnant or for some medical reason, where it can be found that the mother’s health is strictly committed to pregnancy which could lead her to run risk. However, at the time that the teenage mother voluntarily aborted and not safe could bring different consequences and complications, since it is one of the five main causes of maternal mortality, according to a study led by the World Health Organization indicates that “Of the 55.7 million abortions that were requested approximately each year between 2010 and 2014, around 25 million were abortions.”(Bordras, 2018). The main complications of an abortion are not sure are infection, peritonitis, severe bleeding and vagina and uterus injuries; Similarly, consequences that affect subsequent pregnancies may appear, one of the most common infertility.

On the other hand, abortion in some countries is legalized for those women who want to do it, however, in other countries such as Ecuador it is still illegal and “the penalty for a woman who can think of this is one to five years in prison and for a doctor or person who has supported the procedure is two to five years.”(Women on Waves, 2008)
