The importance of oral communication as a tool

Oral communication is undoubtedly one of the most practical tools to transmit a message. Since its birth, the human being expresses the need to communicate using crying and body movements. The communicative process becomes imminent at every moment of our lives. On the other hand, for the communicative process to be effective and completed, there must be the issuing and receiver elements. “Oral communication is instituted between two or more people, it has the air transmission and as a code a language” (Label: Oral Communication, 2015). In my profession as a special education teacher, oral communication plays a fundamental role in bringing the teaching message and also helps identify the needs of students.

Oral communication plays a fundamental role in the teaching process. Special education educators and teachers use oral communication as a powerful instructional tactic. It is through speaking that the teacher transmits the information he wants his students to learn. Similarly, the teacher converted into the issuer is responsible for the proper use of words so that the message reaches students as receivers in their own way. Also, reinforcing language in students is one of the goals with priority when educating them. This aims to communicate students and can use oral communication for their own benefit.

On the other hand, oral communication helps educators identify students’ needs. If communication is effective, the student can express their thoughts, opinions and doubts.

Wait! The Importance Of Oral Communication As A Tool paper is just an example!

"Oral communication lies in how through it we can express the problems, professional, sentimental information among others" (importance of oral communication, n.d.) Similarly, this will allow us with educators to identify the student’s need to be reinforced. Also, in the special education area, body and illustrative communication is necessary in accordance with the health conditions present in students with individual special needs.

To summarize, oral communication is undoubtedly one of the most practical tools to transmit a message. The communicative process becomes imminent at every moment of our lives. There is no doubt that, in my profession as a future teacher of special education, oral communication plays a fundamental role in bringing the teaching message and also helping to identify the needs of students.
