“Meaning of life”
Finding the meaning of life may be a challenging task. Should we, for example, make more money all our lives and forget to make relationships with others? Could we also be happy if we lived a life of begging but had as many friends as possible? What is the purpose of waking up every day to make a better future yet we will still die one day anyway? Answering these questions may not be easy to many. It is important to make up one’s view of their own happiness based on the various conceptions of happiness.
If one found themselves alone in the entire universe, life would still be meaningless even if they had as much money as possible. First, they would not be in a position to use this money as they would as nobody would be there to sell what they require. Even if there was a system where everything sold itself and you were only required to place the money where you took the item, life would still be meaningless. Some happiness in using what we have stems from sharing it with others and how they view the particular item. You would, for example, get no satisfaction from driving a Lamborghini if those around you don’t know its worth. While making all the money one can get may bring some level of happiness to them in that they can travel where they want or buy what they want, one would still be living an incomplete life without friends. However, one has to still make some money to get some financial freedom or else they would always be stressed about the future or deal with constant rejection from others who might view you as a bother due to constant begging.

Wait! The Meaning of Life Updated paper is just an example!

The most important thing is therefore to find a balance between one’s career and friends and family.
People’s mortality is also a constant bother to them. Nihilists believe that there is no meaning to life as we will die anyway. The major problem to the anxiety about death, however, stems from the fact that people do not pose to enjoy in the present moment. Most people are continually making money such that spending a few minutes with friends, enjoying the cool breeze, revering in the environment among other things. The result of this is that one is always fearful that they might die before they have enjoyed the fruits of their work. Always appreciate the little successes you have encountered and take time to consider the effect of the hardships you face on your life and satisfaction. This way, death would not be a factor in how one lives.
My philosophy of life is based on both Epicurus and Nietzsche’s view of happiness and hardships. Nietzsche was of the opinion that there would be no pain without gain (Nietzsche n.pag). The hardships one faces along the way strengthens them for what the future holds. It is only through cultivating these challenges and learning from the possible mistakes that one made that they can achieve the success and happiness they desire. Epicurus, on the other hand, was of the opinion that people could all be happy but they chose happiness in the wrong places (Epicurus n.pag). People end up believing that life is all about spending as much as they can and getting any kind of pleasure. They, however, need friends to make their life more fulfilling and must always take time to think about the accomplishments they have made, challenges, and how they can make life more meaningful.
