Why do you think the information asked for in the Market Data section is important?
The information about the market data is of a great importance since it indicates the progress of the Vendor before the firm buys their products. It also shows the consistency of their customers and the trust the customers have in the products that are sold to them by the Vendor.
What does the RFP ask about reporting capabilities?
The reporting capability indicates whether the product can allow the customization of the reports. It also gives answers to some of the standard reports that can be used by the customers as well as the way the reports can be stored.
What section would you review to ensure that the vendor would be there for you after the system was implemented?
The section that will be reviewed to ensure that the vendors will stay with me even after the implementation of the product is the Training/Testing phases. This section will be reviewed such that the vendor stays with the customer until the client is well acquainted with the usability of the system (“Request for Proposal (RFP) Template for Health Information Technology”, 2012).
What section would you review to ensure that all of your employees would understand how to use the system?
The training and testing section should be reviewed so that every employee in the nursing care can properly interact with the system. The review will also result in the minimization of the errors that can be caused by the employees using the product.

Through the training, the employees should be comfortable with any changes made in the system.
What section or sections would you want to be sure to review if you were the HIPAA Privacy and Security officer and why?
As a HIPAA Privacy and security officer, I would review the security features to ensure that all the security requirements are met. Improvement on the security requirements will also ensure that there is no security breach.
What section or sections would you be interested in if you were a doctor, and why?
Doctors need to have the data of the patients protected, and so I would be more interested in the data protection. And also I would be interested in the section of the E-prescribing to ensure that the prescriptions that are done electronically are accurate.
What section or sections would you be interested in if you were an Information Technology Manager, and why?
If I were the Information Technology manager, I would be interested in the infrastructure and the technology that the system would use. This would help me understand the compatibility of the system with the computers in our firm.
