The Annapolis convention was a meeting conducted in September 1786 in Annapolis Maryland, with a sole intention of reversing the protectionist trade barriers that existed before. Five states participated in the meeting through the representation of their respective leaders (Vile, 2017). Summary of the Article
The article mentioned earlier gives in-depth explanations about the above Annapolis convention. It also explains the core reasons that led to the conference. For example, the author argues that economic disputes between the members mentioned above states were one of the core reasons. Besides, the author is also keen to reveal the setting as observed in the Annapolis convention.
