Thermodynamic concepts

Introduction.

This document is a summary of introduction concepts to thermodynamics. Includes a description of the concepts, equations and images in relation to the subject to facilitate knowledge on different topics and be able to apply them in a correct way in the resolution of the problem or other events that serve.

The thermodynamics covers in its study various themes, several of the concepts of study are presented below to know, analyze, deduce, formulate and study the effects produced by the same. The objective of this study is to determine how the concepts of study have to do with various properties of materials, substances and various chemical and physical factors that surround us.

To this end, three research pugs are raised: what is mobile border work?, What are polytropic processes? And what are specific heats? In this context, thermodynamics is one of the branches within the most important engineering. With respect to research questions, they are answered through an experiment and consultation that explains the different terms to study. These are divided into three, each covers at the same time various themes on terms of physical and chemical components that must be analyzed.

Developing.

Given this, it is recommended that the terms to be studied be analyzed in the best possible way for their own understanding, additional research could be carried out to identify other factors to take into account in relation to thermodynamics and this would be very useful for students and engineers.

Wait! Thermodynamic Concepts paper is just an example!

Thermodynamics

The thermodynamic word has to do with a branch of physics in relation to an engineering science, it is in relation to the study of the physical and chemical behavior of the subject at rest, taking into account its properties and principles, it is accompanied by the study of the mechanics of fluids and transfers to be able to understand, analyze, design and deduce various problems that occur in the same.

Theoretical framework

The present investigation aims, to analyze the different concepts in relation to the thermodynamics and their laws that can be applied in various circumstances that arise, go in terms of concepts of pressure, volume, speed, among others, which, which is the same as They will be analyzed with fundamentals in books, reports, sites and web and more.

Mobile border work

It is a very common form of work and has to do with the expansion or understanding of a gas given in a cylinder-water system. It is a process in which part of the border (inner face of the cylinder-spring) moves in a sway, this action is called mobile border or border work. It is announced that the same mobile border work in relation to real engines or compressors does not occur only from a thermodynamic analysis, given that the cylinder-water tends to be in very high speeds.

POLITROPIC PROCESSES

This thermodynamic process is in relation to the isothermal and adiabatic processes of a gas, in which the three magnitudes of pressure, volume and temperature are considered, it is also considered the heat transfer factor, thus giving a heat supply which change relatively to temperature.

Energy balance for closed and open systems

Knowing heat and energy as energy ways makes it possible for the Law on Mechanical Energy Conservation, which also includes work and external, potential and kinetic energies. As the statement tells us "although energy adopts many forms, the total amount of energy is constant, and when energy disappears in a way, it will appear simultaneously in other forms".

Specific heats

It is known for various circumstances that are needed from different amounts of energy to raise a degree the identical masses that belong to various substances. The specific heat is defined as the energy required to raise the temperature of a mass unit to a degree, the study is generalized in specific heat to constant volume and specific heat at constant constant pressure.

Impurities

Because alloys are presented, there are certain occasions in which small impurities can greatly alter the measured specific heat. These alloys show a marked difference in their behavior even if the impurity in question is one of the elements that form the alloy; It shows in example impurities in ferromagnetic semiconductor alloys which can reach very different measurements.

Amount of substance

Whenever the measurement of the specific heat in science and engineering is carried out, the amount of substance is often of mass, either in grams or in kilograms. It is suggested that almost always in chemistry it is convenient that the unit of the amount of substance is the mol when measuring the specific heat, which is a certain number of molecules or atoms of the substance. If the unit of the amount of substance is the mol, the term specific molar heat can be used to address; or use the term specific mass heat, to indicate that a unit of mass is used.

conclusion.

After analyzing the different terms in relation to thermodynamics, the mobile border work process, energy balance for closed and open systems, specific heats everything is annexed to the first principle or law of thermodynamics in relation to gases and chemical elements and Physics that include the analysis of work, pressure, speed, density among other factors that occur.

It is concluded that the principle of the thermodynamic law is one of the most important principles to be able to understand in a correct way the operation and functionalities of thermodynamics, taking into account that it is one of the most important subjects within the study of the mechanical engineer , in addition to the fact that it is in relation to other subjects of study such as fluid mechanics, heat transfers, physical, chemistry therefore thermodynamics becomes vital in the resolution of practical problems or writings.
