The Role of State Government
A government refers to a group of people accorded power to govern a nation or state. It acts like an elementary body in any country, due to its various roles in regards to the citizens who are the essential aspect in a country.
Its first role is offering protection to citizens. The regime has the responsibility to enforce law and order since insecurity is often encountered all over. The turmoil of war and dismay may mount to higher levels and lead to panic and confusion amongst people in a particular nation, but with a responsible government, it may not be a vexing issue as such.
Secondly, the government acts as a provider to its people. There is a variety of items that individuals may be incapable of providing by themselves (Bendix, 31). Basic structures like infrastructure and the social welfare status are created by the administration, as they benefit every human being.
In addition to that, it acts as an investor in citizens’ talents. The most important aspect in this sector is education. This, therefore, means that the persons in authority have the task to invest in the whole infrastructure of kids’ development all the way from pregnancy to schooling, nutrition and home visits included. However, even the well-educated individuals require a platform where they can work with ease about the available resources.
To wind up, every citizen has a role to play in ensuring that society is a better place for everyone to live in.

It is very vital to note that citizens can make work more manageable for the government by cooperating with the people in authority. This entails giving respect to the law and assisting them to arrest and discipline criminals. This way, society can be a very comfortable and secure place for all.
